I make red earthenware functional tableware and I decorate them with white slip and coloured underglazes. I also sometimes impress lace or other fabric onto the clay and add transfers in a third firing as part of the decoration.
I have been making ceramics for over 20 years and completed a City and Guilds at West Cheshire college in 2001. My studio is at home and I usually fire in my electric kiln.
